Principle of air suspension bearing:
When the motor starts, the rotor shaft and the air bearing move relative to each other, and the speed of the rotor shaft rapidly increases. The gas rotating on the surface of the shaft quickly generates tension, causing the foil of the air bearing to open. The bearing separates from the shaft, forming an air film between the shaft and the bearing foil. By utilizing the transmission, adsorption, and compressibility of the gas, a complete air film is formed under the aerodynamic effect. The bearing supports the rotating shaft through the pressure field of the air film, keeping the rotor shaft in a stable suspended state.
When the shaft rotates, the air film around the shaft has an error equalization effect, which keeps the shaft rotating at the center with high accuracy and low vibration. Air bearings have no physical contact and there is no efficiency loss during operation, thereby improving the efficiency of the blower system.
